PER1 antibody - 100 µg
Host : Rabbit
Clonality: Polyclonal
Clone:
Isotype: IgG
Immunogen: period homolog 1 (Drosophila)
Purity: ≥95% as determined by SDS-PAGE
Form: Liquid
Molecular weight: 160 kDa
Uniprot: O15534
Gene id: 5187
Background: This gene is a member of the Period family of genes and is expressed in a circadian pattern in the suprachiasmatic nucleus, the primary circadian pacemaker in the mammalian brain. Genes in this family encode components of the circadian rhythms of locomotor activity, metabolism, and behavior. This gene is upregulated by CLOCK
ARNTL heterodimers but then represses this upregulation in a feedback loop using PER
CRY heterodimers to interact with CLOCK
ARNTL. Polymorphisms in this gene may increase the risk of getting certain cancers. Alternative splicing has been observed in this gene; however, these variants have not been fully described.
Field of research: Neuroscience, Signal Transduction, Metabolism
Storage conditions: PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol pH 7.3, -20°C for 12 months (Avoid repeated freeze
thaw cycles.)
Applications: ELISA, WB, IHC, IF
Dilution: WB: 1:500 - 1:2000; IHC: 1:50 - 1:200; IF: 1:50 - 1:200
Target: PER1
Purification: Immunogen affinity purified
Reactivity: Human, Mouse, Rat
