TFAP2B antibody - 100 µg
Host : Rabbit
Clonality: Polyclonal
Clone:
Isotype: IgG
Immunogen: transcription factor AP-2 beta(activating enhancer binding protein 2 beta)
Purity: ≥95% as determined by SDS-PAGE
Form: Liquid
Molecular weight: 50 kDa
Uniprot: Q92481
Gene id: 7021
Background: Sequence-specific DNA-binding protein that interacts with inducible viral and cellular enhancer elements to regulate transcription of selected genes. AP-2 factors bind to the consensus sequence 5'-GCCNNNGGC-3' and activate genes involved in a large spectrum of important biological functions including proper eye, face, body wall, limb and neural tube development. They also suppress a number of genes including MCAM
MUC18, C
EBP alpha and MYC. AP-2-beta appears to be required for normal face and limb development and for proper terminal differentiation and function of renal tubular epithelia.
Field of research: Cancer, Metabolism, Developmental biology
Storage conditions: PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol pH 7.3, -20°C for 12 months(Avoid repeated freeze
thaw cycles.)
Applications: ELISA, WB, IP
Dilution: WB: 1:500-1:2000; IP: 1:200-1:2000
Target: TFAP2B
Purification: Immunogen affinity purified
Reactivity: Human, Mouse, Rat
