| Product Details: | A general purpose nutritious broth capable of growing a wide range of bacteria and fungi. The medium is recommended by the United States Pharmacopeia for the sterility testing of a wide range of pharmaceutical products. The medium is also widely used for blood cultures although the high carbohydrate level may cause rapid growth and subsequent death of acid-producing organisms.
