Lab M appoints new distributor in Germany

Lab M Limited (Bury, UK) has appointed Gunter Keul GmbH to distribute its range of dehydrated culture media, supplements and related products throughout Germany. Gunter Keul GmbH has offices in Steinfurt, Germany, and offers a wide range of microbiology and diagnostic products.
Commenting on the appointment, Mike Iddon, sales and marketing manager for Lab M said: “As part of Lab M’s continuing development we are looking to achieve significant growth in our export business and the German market is very important for us. We look forward to a productive relationship with Gunter Keul GmbH.”

A leading cause of food-borne illness, Campylobacter has been much in the news this year, not least being the focus for the UK’s Food Safety Week in June, and also the subject of an international conference hosted by the country’s Food Standards Agency in July.
